Concord Briars Park Cricket – 2022/23 News

Game Report – 24/09/22

As the season kicks off for Concord Briars Park cricket, it’s a chance to remember last year’s great Grand Final win by the Concord Maroons C-Grade team.

In a low scoring tight game setup by the bowlers, a middle order collapse was saved by a late partnership between Jeremy and Ely who put on the winning runs to win by 3 wickets with a fine innings by James earlier. Well done lads!

Concord Briars Park Cricket is a more relaxed form of cricket, being played Saturday afternoons in a 35 over a team one day game format and without training. There are many father son combinations who play. It’s also a pathway for junior cricketers who want to play with existing friends or without the pressure of grading.
