The Briars Sports Collection

The Briars Sporting Club was founded in 1918 by a group of fourteen boys ranging in age from nine to thirteen years. From these humble beginnings Briars Sports has grown into the great club it is today fostering amateur, junior and women’s sports from the grassroots. Throughout the club’s history, significant sporting artefacts, written archives, ledges, trophies, photographs and memorabilia have been collected. This valuable collection has been digitised and is now available online for the club’s many members and guests to explore Briars Sports history.
