A blast from the past Kevin Moore, now Dr. Kevin Moore played rugby for Briars in 1970’s. Kevin toured New Zealand in 1973 with the Rugby & Squash teams. After Kevin retired from rugby, he moved to Tamworth to carry on his agricultural pursuits.

Kevin was famous at Briars for wearing an old army great-coat to rugby on Saturday afternoons, but that’s another story.

Dr Kevin Moore has been awarded the Lester Burgess Award for Diagnostics and Extension by the Australasian Plant Pathology Society Management Committee.
