Greenlees Park Ladies Bowls
July 2022 – Quarterly Report

Women’s Bowls held an informal President’s Day for Margaret Truesdale on Thursday, 16th June. The day started with a social game of triples, afterwards everyone got together for a delicious lunch. Margaret was congratulated for all the time and effort she has spent in her first year as president of women’s bowls.

The final of the Club Pairs was played on the 7th of July, which was a very exciting game to watch. Congratulations to the winners, Jennifer Leek and Rosalind Lightfoot. Runners-up were Mollie McLachlan and Margaret Cunningham.

Macquarie District Pennants will commence on Tuesday, 9th August and are hoping for no rain delays. We will be playing in grade 2 and grade 4.

Ladies Bowls will hold their AGM on Thursday, 14th July. Margaret Truesdale has been re-nominated unopposed as club president.

On Thursday, 15th September ladies bowls will have their annual friends day, where members invite fellow bowlers from other clubs for a fun day of bowls.
