Vale – David Cooke

1933 – 2025

David was a squashie who commenced playing for the Briars at Burwood in the early 1970s just after squash became a major sport.  He was a team player and a very social one as well.  One of his highlights he would acknowledge would have been in the 1978 squash tour of New Zealand holding his own on the squash court.  After his playing career, he was a regular at the Club with lots of stories to tell.  David will be sadly missed.

A Celebration of Life will be held Parkside at Briars Sports on Saturday, 8th November from 3 – 5 pm.
