• The Briars Social Golf Club had their annual Christmas lunch and presentation for 2024.  Unfortunately, due to numerous inclement weather on a number of occasions this year, we were unable to conduct our Matchplay and Club Championships.

• However, we had the pleasure of presenting John O’Brien as the Perpetual winner of 2024 and Ian Guy as the Runner Up.  The Perpetual Trophy is for the most consistent player throughout the year. The Patrons Trophy was won by Peter Sullivan and presented by Briars Board Member, Aaron Boyton.

• I would like to take this opportunity to thank The Briars Board Members, General Manager Jason Parle, Ben and Kim Williams and bar staff , Monique Laaper and Head of Catering Richard Wells for their ongoing support throughout the year.  It is always very much appreciated.
